July Wrap Up and August Goals

As summer wanes and autumn approaches, I thought it would be fun to talk about what I’ve been doing this summer and hear about your activities, as well as exchange goals for August. Let’s get into it!

A collage of my activities this past month!

July Wrap Up

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday — 9am-1pm : Math Enrichment

Wednesday 9am-12pm : Math Enrichment

Math Enrichment took up a huge portion of July. There were daily lectures and homework sets. Chapter tests usually occurred every other day. The last day was devoted to a final. I enjoyed Math Enrichment, really — I took it for enrichment in Algebra 2/Trig because I love learning! While it did get rather exhausting more than a few times, it was worth it. 😀

Thursday — 3pm-5pm : Imaginative Fiction Workshop

This is a creative writing workshop in which author Rebecca Roanhorse and around ten others (including myself) learn about the craft of writing and share feedback on each others’ works in progress. I enjoyed seeing how the craft of writing was approached from different angles and am sure it will benefit me in the future.

Sunday — 11:00am-12:15pm : The Pen Wielders’ Society

This is a creative writing workshop in which I guided members in honing their talent of writing. The 8 weekly meetings were tons of fun 😀 and I was fortunate to work with such interested, enthusiastic participants.

And…my usual three piano classes a week 😀

  1. Hi,

I would like to thank you so much for posting a gem of an article!

I love this post very much! This may be the first time I’m commenting on your blog, but I’ve been following your blog for some time. And I have to tell you that you are doing a fantastic job!

I want to remain updated with your work, so I have decided to follow you! 🙂

May I ask you for a small favor? As we write on similar topics, could you spare a minute of your time to look at my blog on my new site proinvestivity.com and provide some feedback, it would be invaluable to me. Thank you very much.

    1. Hi,

Wow, thank you so much for your kind words and for following! Of course — I took some time to read three of the articles on your blog, and I really enjoyed them! I read My Personal Experience With Social Media In This Coronavirus Lockdown, How To Deal With Negative Emotions, and Top 5 TV Series That Will Help You Develop Your Personality. I think that you sharing your personal experience and honest opinions helped to strengthen your post. Oh and I also watched both Taare Zameen Par and Sherlock and they are AMAZING. I want to do a review post on Taare Zameen Par; it’s so touching. And the Reichenbach Fall (S2 Ep 3 of Sherlock) is an incredible episode!

      Thanks again for reaching out!
